Tennille Sanders’ “Dimensional Silhouettes, an exploration into psychological instability” attracted 513 votes online and will now be judged by a Vogue senior fashion editor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Nanango designer Tennille Sanders has moved into the finals of an international women’s fashion competition after collecting more than 500 votes online for her designs.<\/p>\n

Tenille’s \u00a0collection easily made the cut-off of the 50 most popular designs entered into the 2014 Muuse x Vogue Talents Young Vision Award.<\/p>\n

Her work will now be presented to Vogue Senior Fashion Editor Sara Maino who will select the final winner.<\/p>\n

The Young Vision Womenswear Award is an international competition which aims to create a platform for rising design talent.<\/p>\n

The competition is a partnership between Vogue Talents and Danish fashion label Muuse and this year attracted more than 400 entries from 70 countries.<\/p>\n

Tennille, who graduated from the Whitehouse Institute of Design\u00a0in February, is the only Australian graduate designer in the running for an award.<\/p>\n

She describes her collection as “a modern exploration into psychological instability, through the application of dimensional silhouettes”. Emotional and psychological imbalance is demonstrated through exaggerated proportions.<\/p>\n

The winning designer will be given the opportunity to design a Muuse Editions capsule collection produced and sold through Muuse under the designer\u2019s own name, supported with free production, PR, marketing and sales.<\/p>\n

As well, the winner will be given an online feature in Vogue Talents on Vogue.it<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tennille, who also has a degree in Applied Science, \u00a0describes herself as a \u201cfashion nerd\u201d.<\/p>\n

She credits her scientific background as a significant influence on her design process, “providing structure to her creative process”.<\/p>\n
