July 14, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wondai Regional Art Gallery will be turning the spotlight on young up-and-coming talent in the region during August with the annual South Burnett High School Art Competition.<\/p>\n

The gallery will be filled with a variety of art from students.<\/p>\n

There are sections for Juniors (Years 8-10), Seniors (Years 11-12), a 2D Division (all paintings), a 3D Division (sculpture, pottery and papier mache) and a Division which covers \u201cinterpretative Indigenous Inspired Art\u201d.<\/p>\n

Prize money for First, Second, and Third will be awarded for all sections.<\/p>\n

Entry forms are available at local high schools or the Wondai Regional Art Gallery.<\/p>\n

Artwork from Proston State School will be featured in Kidz Corner.<\/p>\n

Opening night will be Friday, August 1. <\/p>\n

The $5 entry fee includes hot and cold supper with punch. <\/p>\n
