Legacy are the ultimate winners following the running of the annual Anzac Day race meeting at Wondai in April.<\/p>\n

South Burnett Race Club president Wayne Kratzmann presented a cheque for $1500 to representatives from the Fraser-Burnett Legacy group in Wondai this afternoon.<\/p>\n

The cheque represents profits from the meeting.<\/p>\n

Legacy provides services to Australian families who are suffering financially or socially after the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service.<\/p>\n

It currently cares for about 100,000 widows and 1900 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia.<\/p>\n

The Fraser-Burnett group provides assistance to six widows in the South Burnett area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
