You don’t have to be a poker ace or a roulette champion to have fun at the charity “Casino in Nanango” night which is coming up later this month.<\/p>\n

The black tie event will be held on July 26 at the Nanango Cultural Centre to raise funds for the 2014 Mardi Gras.<\/p>\n

It will feature croupiers and gaming tables straight from Brisbane.<\/p>\n

Entertainment will be provided by the South Burnett’s own “Elvis”, Jeff Hancock.<\/p>\n

This will be a great opportunity to try your hand at Texas Hold\u2019em – or any of the other great games that the croupiers will be on hand to teach – without risking the shirt on your back.<\/p>\n

Tickets must be pre-booked (there will be none available at the door) and are strictly limited to just 100.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There’ll be a lucky door prize plus a “Best Dressed” award.<\/p>\n

Cost is $80 a single or $150 a double.<\/p>\n

Each ticket will entitle the holder to $1000 funny money, two drinks and finger food.<\/p>\n

This is the last major fundraiser for the Nanango Funfest Committee which has been busy this year planning for the Heritage Nanango Mardi Gras in October.<\/p>\n

For the first time the Mardi Gras will be one of the “South Burnett & Cherbourg On Show” events on the Labour Day weekend.<\/p>\n
