The new TruCAM radar gun operated by police in the South Burnett has caught more local motorists speeding.<\/p>\n

Police monitoring the 60km\/h zone on the southern outskirts of Wondai between 10:00am and 3:00pm last Thursday detected 102 vehicles speeding.<\/p>\n

Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy Police, said the highest recording was 91km\/h.<\/p>\n

“Each of the motorists will receive speeding infringement notices through the mail,” he said.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the TruCAM radar gun was deployed in the main street of Yarraman between 2:00pm and 5:00pm.<\/p>\n

Snr Sgt Frank said 32 vehicles were detected speeding in the 60km\/h zone. The highest speed was 100km\/h.<\/p>\n
