Cr Ros Heit at this morning’s Ride The South Burnett community ride … spotted missing boy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The young boy who went missing yesterday has been located safe and well in Kingaroy this morning.<\/p>\n

South Burnett councillor Ros Heit, who was taking part in this morning’s “Ride The South Burnett” community bike ride, spotted a boy whom she thought may be Tyrone Coe, 13, walking along Harris Road about 8:15am.<\/p>\n

She rang Triple 0 and also hailed a police car.<\/p>\n

Police quickly located Tyrone and took him to Kingaroy Police station to contact his family.<\/p>\n

“I saw this kid and I thought it was a bit suss,” Cr Heit told southburnett.com.au<\/strong><\/p>\n

“He was just wearing shorts. He should have been rugged up in a jumper at that time in the morning.<\/p>\n

“Thank goodness he’s safe. That’s the main thing!”<\/p>\n
