June 19, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blackbutt-Benarkin Lions Club held its changeover on Wednesday night but it was a triple celebration for the club, also marking the 10th anniversary of it being chartered in June 2004 and the induction of three new members.<\/p>\n

District Governor Delwyn Hallett presented new members Don McNally, Liz Hollens-Riley and Judy McNall with their badges.<\/p>\n

Special guests were Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington and former Member Dorothy Pratt, who was the local MP at the time the club was chartered.<\/p>\n

Several of the original charter members were present, including the incoming club president for 2014-15 Ivan Panzram.<\/p>\n
