Aaron Livingstone … Rotary Pride of Workmanship award winner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

“Brilliant”, “a lovely guy to work with” … this is the high praise received by Aaron Livingstone who has been named the Rotary Club of Kingaroy’s latest Pride of Workmanship award winner.<\/p>\n

Aaron, 24, completed his apprenticeship as a mechanic just two weeks ago, which meant he was still eligible to take out Rotary’s May award, which was for “Apprentices”.<\/p>\n

The former Kingaroy High School student didn’t always want to be a mechanic.<\/p>\n

After leaving school, he worked for a while as a draughtsman before deciding an office job was not for him.<\/p>\n

He began his apprenticeship at Huston Ford in Kingaroy three and a half years ago.<\/p>\n

Huston’s service manager Ivan Walker was full of praise for Aaron, as is dealer principal Mark Huston, who nominated Aaron for the award.<\/p>\n

Aaron told southburnett.com.au<\/strong>\u00a0he was really enjoying working for Huston Ford where he had now progressed to the level of “senior technician” doing diagnostics and repairs.<\/p>\n

He will be presented with his award at the Kingaroy Rotary Club meeting on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Each month, the club invites the public to nominate an outstanding individual from within the Kingaroy region in a particular work category.<\/p>\n

The June category is “Financial Services”.<\/p>\n

Club president Damien Tessmann said this was an opportunity for employers and customers to recognise workers worthy of an award.<\/p>\n
