Two former South Burnett rugby league players have been selected in the Queensland State of Origin squad which aims to level the series in Game 2.<\/p>\n

Former Cherbourg Hornet Willie Tonga – now a Parramatta Eel – has been recalled to the squad to join ex-Kingaroy Red Ant Chris McQueen (South Sydney).<\/p>\n

The squad for Game 2 was announced on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Tonga was born in Canberra, and lived for a while in Cootamundra and La Perouse before his family moved to Cherbourg where he played for the Hornets as a junior.<\/p>\n

He started playing NRL in 2002. <\/p>\n

In 2004, Tonga was named the Dally M centre of the year, played for Queensland in State of Origin and was part of the Canterbury Bulldogs’ Premiership winning side. <\/p>\n

In 2005, he made his debut for Australia in the Tri-Nations campaign. <\/p>\n
