{"id":69936,"date":"2014-06-04T14:03:38","date_gmt":"2014-06-04T04:03:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=69936"},"modified":"2020-08-28T11:38:03","modified_gmt":"2020-08-28T01:38:03","slug":"grdc-seeking-board-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2014\/06\/04\/grdc-seeking-board-members\/","title":{"rendered":"GRDC Seeking Board Members"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>June 4, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Grains Research and Development Corporation is seeking applications from people interested in becoming a non-executive director.<\/p>\n<p>The GRDC is a statutory Federal Government corporation that co-ordinates and invests in research and development for the benefit of all stakeholders in the grains industry and the community at large.<\/p>\n<p>The role is for three years, starting in October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidates must be able to demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following fields:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grains production, processing or marketing<\/li>\n<li>Conservation and management of natural resources<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to represent GRDC to all stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Environmental and ecological matters<\/li>\n<li>Science<\/li>\n<li>Technology and technology transfer<\/li>\n<li>Economics<\/li>\n<li>Finance and business management<\/li>\n<li>Administration of research and development<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of corporate governance and responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Public administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants are requested to provide a brief CV and description of their relevant expertise (not more than three pages), by <strong><a href=\"mailto:directorapply@bigpond.com\">email<\/a><\/strong> to Ms Joanne Grainger.<\/p>\n<p>Closing date for applications is Friday, June 13.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Grains Research and Development Corporation is seeking applications from people interested in becoming a non-executive director.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":69967,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3,36],"tags":[1134],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
