{"id":69679,"date":"2014-06-02T13:51:08","date_gmt":"2014-06-02T03:51:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=69679"},"modified":"2020-08-28T11:38:10","modified_gmt":"2020-08-28T01:38:10","slug":"error-on-rates-notices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2014\/06\/02\/error-on-rates-notices\/","title":{"rendered":"Error On Rates Notices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>June 2, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>South Burnett Regional Council has advised that there is an error on a small number of the 18,500 rates notices that were recently issued.<\/p>\n<p>The affected rates notices are displaying an incorrect &#8220;net payable&#8221; figure.<\/p>\n<p>A Council spokesman said three batches containing payments made in March 2014 have been updated twice. This has caused some bills to show a Credit balance with the notation &#8220;Account fully paid &#8211; NO PAYMENT REQUIRED&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Council staff are presently working together with our software provider to correct the error,&#8221; the spokesman said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Council will be contacting those affected ratepayers by letter this week advising them of the error and providing them with the correct balance that is payable.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South Burnett Regional Council has advised that there is an error on a small number of the 18,500 rates notices that were recently issued.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[22,3],"tags":[1131],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
