Growing The Burnett’s popular weekly farmer’s markets will be moving to a new timeslot midway through next month.<\/p>\n

The markets, which feature locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, jams, pickles, cakes, woodwork and crafts have been running at O’Neill Square every Thursday between 7:00am and 12:30pm since November.<\/p>\n

But on June 19 they’ll be changing into a “twilight market” that will run from 1:00pm to 6:30pm.<\/p>\n

And to keep the winter atmosphere lively, they’ll be introducing healthy hot foods, coffee, wine and music to their regular offerings.<\/p>\n

Organiser Brian Jarvis said the change in hours has been brought about by public demand.<\/p>\n

“Changing the time will better suit the needs of the people who work in businesses around Kingaroy,” he said.<\/p>\n

“They’ll be able to stop in after school or work, and we can also help people who visit Kingaroy for Thursday late night shopping.”<\/p>\n

New stallholders are always welcome.<\/p>\n
