Nimu\u00e9 Gallery<\/strong> is looking for creative locals to take part in an art competition to be held in conjunction with the Motors in Motion<\/strong> festival which will be held at Kingaroy Airport on October 27.<\/p>\n

The theme of the competition is ‘Any Motor in Motion’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There will be an adult section as well as children’s sections (Primary and High School groups)<\/p>\n

An $8 entry fee will apply to the adult’s section, which will be donated to charity.<\/p>\n

Entries may be created in any medium but must not exceed one metre square, including framing.<\/p>\n

Entries must be delivered to Nimu\u00e9 Art at 6 King Street, Kingaroy between 10:30am and 3:30pm on Thursday, September 27, or Friday, September 28. Artwork will go on display at the gallery from October 1 to October 25 and will later be exhibited at Motors in Motion.<\/p>\n

Judging will be by people’s choice on the day and prize money will be awarded to the winner and runner-up in each class.<\/p>\n

Paintings will be displayed and can go on sale; 20 per cent of commission will be retained on all sales and will be donated to charity.<\/p>\n
