<\/a>South Burnett Regional Council has notified residents of two more lots of scheduled roadworks that will disrupt traffic in upcoming weeks:<\/p>\n
* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\nWork has commenced on Franks Road, Blackbutt, which includes a pavement upgrade to a two-lane bitumen seal.
\n<\/strong>
\nIt is anticipated the work will take approximately eight weeks to complete, weather permitting.<\/p>\nDuring these works, traffic will be disrupted between 6:30am and 3:30pm. Traffic will be reduced to one lane which will be controlled with traffic control and traffic lights.<\/p>\n
* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\nWork will also commence soon on the Maidenwell-Bunya Mountains Road at Wengenville.

\nThis work, scheduled to begin next Monday, includes a pavement upgrade of a 700m section to a two-lane bitumen seal. The water supply in the Blackbutt and Benarkin area will be interrupted intermittently from Monday, May 26, to Wednesday, May 28.<\/p>\n
The interruptions will allow valve and fire hydrant testing to take place.<\/p>\n
