Former Cherbourg girl – and now St Saviour’s College student – Shaleise Law has been selected for the All Australian Youth Girls side after turning out for Woomeras at the Under 18 AFL youth girls Nationals held in Canberra recently.<\/p>\n

Shaleise was selected in the forward pocket after she dominated the youth girls Division 2 competition.<\/p>\n

Carnival highlights included her match-winning goal against the Northern Territory\/Tasmania side which propelled the Woomeras into the Division 2 final.<\/p>\n

Overall, Woomeras finished the carnival as Division 2 champions, defeating host state NSW\/ACT in the final.<\/p>\n

Law becomes the first footballer on the Darling Downs to be selected in an All-Australian side in the Australian Football League talent program.<\/p>\n

Shaleise’s 2014 highlights include:<\/strong><\/p>\n
