The Rotary Club of Kingaroy is very pleased to announce that the Pride of Workmanship Award for April was made to Jason Ford – chef, teacher, mentor, blogger and businessman.<\/p>\n

Jason was nominated by Tina Torrens who said in her nomination: \u00a0“You\u2019ve only got to visit his website, www.fordonfood.com.au<\/strong><\/a>, to see how committed Jason is to the South Burnett, to the food industry, to local business, his TAFE students and the many chefs who have trained under and alongside him.”<\/p>\n

Jason said he was honoured to receive the award and he generously acknowledged that there were many others who contributed to his success.<\/p>\n

Rotary is promoting Pride of Workmanship to local businesses through the theme of “Do it once \u2013 do it well” to help employees and business owners achieve the goal of job satisfaction.<\/p>\n

The club looks forward to nominations of those who have demonstrated the highest standards and work ethics.<\/p>\n

For the month of May the Club is calling for nominations for an award for an excellent apprentice in any field of work.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do you know an apprentice who is committed to his or her vocation and shows pride in doing a job well?<\/p>\n

“This is an opportunity for employers and customers to publicly recognise apprentices worthy of an award and to help raise awareness of the importance of all jobs being done well,” Rotary Club of Kingaroy president Damien Tessmann.<\/p>\n

Nominations should be emailed to Val Hooper<\/strong><\/a> by the end of the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
