Kingaroy Town Hall was filled on Saturday night with proud parents and friends eager to enjoy the best entries from the 2014 Kingaroy Eisteddfod.<\/p>\n

The gala concert was the culmination of almost two weeks of competition.<\/p>\n

The evening kicked off with the Kingaroy State High School wind ensemble playing the National Anthem.<\/p>\n

Then it was into a night of music, speech, poetry, drama, singing and dancing.<\/p>\n

Eisteddfod music co-ordinator and concert organiser Lois Blanch said she was very pleased with this year’s eisteddfod.<\/p>\n

“The adjudicators have been very, very good,” she said.<\/p>\n

Lois said the band competition had been especially good with entries coming from Nanango to Murgon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
