Kumbia QCWA members participated in “Women Walk The World<\/strong><\/a>” today.<\/p>\n

This is an event conducted by the Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW) to promote its aims and to raise funds for its valuable work.<\/p>\n

ACWW is based in London and is active in more than 70 countries worldwide, working in partnership with members and member societies such as the QCWA.<\/p>\n

The Kumbia walkers set off from the QCWA restrooms in Bell Street just after 7:00am and enjoyed a stroll around the streets of Kumbia.<\/p>\n

They then enjoyed refreshments at the restrooms a couple of hours later.<\/p>\n

The walkers appreciated the opportunity to admire the gardens in the town and raise money to help ACWW fund about 40 development projects annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
