The theft of $1400 cash from The Ration Shed on Sunday afternoon won’t deter the organisers of the Reconciliation Fun Run at Cherbourg from staging another event in 2015.<\/p>\n

Ration Shed chairperson Sandra Morgan told southburnett.com.au<\/strong> today it was a big amount of money but it was not the whole proceeds of the run as many people had registered online.<\/p>\n

“It won’t stop us from doing it again,” she said.<\/p>\n

“It won’t knock us out, it will make us get up and run even faster!”<\/p>\n

Officer-in-Charge of Cherbourg Police Sgt Scott Prendergast said police investigations into the theft were continuing.<\/p>\n

He said the Fun Run had been a great day for Cherbourg “and just what the town needed” so the incident was disappointing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
