Nanango\u00a0residents turned out in force at the War Memorial on the corner of Drayton and Henry streets on Anzac Day for the traditional Dawn Service.<\/p>\n

This was a followed by a pilgimage to the Nanango Cemetery where poppies were placed on war-related graves.<\/p>\n

The day service, parade and wreath-laying started at 9:00am and featured cadets from 123 Australian Cadet Union Nanango and representatives from the Australian Defence Force Signals School at Carbarlah, who have had a special relationship with Nanango dating back for more than a decade.<\/p>\n

The commemorations were then followed by a lunch at Nanango RSL for invited guests.<\/p>\n
