Keen photographers can learn how to shoot portraits like this at a Sunday afternoon workshop being held at Tipperary Flats in Nanango on May 18<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

April 24, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tipperary Flats in Nanango will be a hive of activity of Sunday, May 18 when the Nanango and District Camera Club holds its popular annual Portrait Workshop.<\/p>\n

The workshop is designed to give photographers practical tips on how to shoot portraits in all types of lighting and weather conditions using digital cameras.<\/p>\n

Last year 20 keen photographers took part, and this year the club hopes more locals will take up the opportunity to learn from experts in the craft.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be led by Gerard Saide from the Photographic Society of Queensland, assisted by fellow PSQA member (and former PSQA president) Graham Burstow.<\/p>\n

Several models will also be available on the day for use as portrait subjects.<\/p>\n

The workshop will get underway at Tipperary Flats at 1:00pm, and the cost is $10 for Nanango Camera Club members and $15 for non-members.<\/p>\n
