April 9, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first round of the 2014 South Burnett Tri-Nations Shield darts competition attracted 24 competitors from three local clubs to the South Burnett Darts Association\u2019s clubhouse in Kingaroy on Sunday.<\/p>\n

This is the second year the Tri-Nations Shield has been held.<\/p>\n

This year it is between the South Burnett, Kingaroy and Nanango darts clubs who have each sent along their best eight players to compete.<\/p>\n

They are playing doubles and singles and are competing for a perpetual shield.<\/p>\n

Round 1 was played at the South Burnett club’s shed in the Kingaroy Industrial Estate.<\/p>\n

South Burnett took out the 2013 competition.<\/p>\n

Round 2 will be played at the Nanango Darts Club on May 4; and the final round will get underway at the Kingaroy Darts Club’s HQ in the Trades Hall at the Kingaroy Showgrounds on July 6.<\/p>\n
