The rains appear to have started, and so have activations for Kingaroy SES. <\/p>\n

Last evening Kingaroy SES attended to a storm damage callout at a Kingaroy Street shop. <\/p>\n

Nine members attended the call and were required to deploy a large 9m x 6m tarp over the leaking roof area. <\/p>\n

No stock damage was reported, although some water was leaking into the premises. <\/p>\n

This activation required 18 hours of work, including sandbag filling and tarp deployment and was safely completed by 9:30pm.<\/p>\n

Residents are reminded to ensure their gutters are clear of leaves and debris to allow rain water to flow freely. <\/p>\n
