FK Gardner & Sons (FKG) have begun working a new roster in a bid to complete repairs to flood-damaged roads, culverts and floodways around the South Burnett by the end of June.<\/p>\n

The work is being funded under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA).<\/p>\n

A South Burnett Regional Council spokesman said FKG began working a 10-day-on, 4-day-off roster on March 18 to increase efficiencies.<\/p>\n

The roster starts on a Tuesday and finishes on the following Thursday week, with crews working through every second weekend. <\/p>\n

Council said when road repairs were close to houses, work would be scheduled for weekdays and every effort would be made to minimise noise and dust.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
