A man has been airlifted to hospital with suspected spinal injuries after a water tank rolled and crushed him this morning on a rural property in South Nanango.<\/p>\n

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene from the Clive Berghofer CareFlight Centre in Toowoomba shortly after 9:00am.<\/p>\n

A CareFlight spokesman said the incident occurred when a large water tank being delivered to the property was unloaded.<\/p>\n

It apparently rolled down the ramp of the truck and into the man, pinning him to the ground.<\/p>\n

The water tank is believed to weigh approximately 300-500kg.<\/p>\n

The man was helped free by other workers on the property.<\/p>\n

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter landed nearby.<\/p>\n

A critical care doctor and flight paramedic treated and stabilised the patient before he was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
