Three South Burnett rugby league teams will be heading north on Saturday for the annual “Clash For Cash” at Mundubbera.<\/p>\n

The all-day round-robin pre-season competition will feature eight teams competing for $2000 in prize money.<\/p>\n

Wondai, Murgon and Cherbourg will come up against teams from Eidsvold, Monto, Mundubbera, Woorabinda and Maryborough.<\/p>\n

Play kicks off at 1:00pm at Martin Love Oval in Mundubbera with the final beginning about 7:00pm under lights.<\/p>\n

Admission is $5.<\/p>\n

Mundubbera Rugby League president Gavin Ford said the competition had been running for about 20 years .<\/p>\n

The event will be a good opportunity for the South Burnett sides to take a look at their Central Burnett counterparts whom they will be playing as part of a group competition during 2014 season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
