Four talented South Burnett artists are being featured in the July exhibition which opens tomorrow night (Friday) at the Wondai Art Gallery.<\/p>\n

The Main Gallery will house a retrospective by well-known local artist, Garry Eyre<\/strong>, who has been painting for more than\u00a030 years.<\/p>\n

Garry has accumulated an enormous range of skills\u00a0and creative tools since his early years of study at the Queensland\u00a0College of Art, and this month’s exhibition will showcase the full range of his work.<\/p>\n

In the Front Gallery is Julie Postle<\/strong>, who was born in Kingaroy and grew up on properties in Central Queensland.<\/p>\n

She uses pastels and acrylics but also experiments with many other\u00a0media.<\/p>\n

Her paintings will be complemented by Sue Berry<\/strong> who “uses\u00a0ephemeral materials and found objects to create intricate artworks that have a cultural\u00a0history”.<\/p>\n

In the Third Gallery, local Aboriginal artist Peter Carlo<\/strong> will have a variety of works on display, from traditional canvasses to paintings on sawblades and plates.<\/p>\n

Students from St Joseph’s School in Murgon will be displaying their work in Kidz\u00a0Korner.<\/p>\n

The opening night starts at 6:00pm and cost is $5 per person with punch and finger food served.<\/p>\n

Moffatdale Ridge will have wine available for sale.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will remain in the Wondai Gallery throughout the month of July.<\/p>\n
