Kingaroy business people turned out in force on Friday night to toast the re-opening of TASTE South Burnett in a new location.<\/p>\n

Owners Megan and Shannon Scott have relocated the business – which promotes South Burnett wines and foodstuffs – from the Old Butter Factory in William Street, Kingaroy, to a new outlet with an al fresco dining area in Alford Street.<\/p>\n

TASTE South Burnett is now located at the end of the walk-through lane that links Alford Street to the parking area at the rear of the Kingaroy Town Hall.<\/p>\n

It’s a satellite cellar door which means that local wines can be enjoyed with a platter in the heart of the Kingaroy CBD.<\/p>\n

Megan said the move had become necessary because the business required more space as more local suppliers had come on board.<\/p>\n

However she said the location would also be more convenient for local residents and would attract “passing trade”. It would also still be attractive for tourists.<\/p>\n

TASTE South Burnett originally opened its doors in June 2010.<\/p>\n

It is open\u00a0from 11:00am\u00a0to\u00a05:30pm\u00a0Mondays to Fridays and\u00a010:00am\u00a0to\u00a04:00pm on\u00a0weekends and public holidays.<\/p>\n
