February 25, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first round of the Husqvarna Queensland Sprint enduro series was raced at Kilkivan on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The event, which attracts some of Queensland’s best off-road motorbike and quad bike riders, was held at Kilkivan Bush Camping on Rossmore Road. <\/p>\n

The four-round series is popular with off-road racers.<\/p>\n

Competitors take part in six short sprint races to establish the overall winner. <\/p>\n

Reining Queensland enduro champion Lachlan Stanford showed his style, coming from behind to win Round 1.<\/p>\n

Round 2 will now be raced at Murphy’s Creek on April 6.<\/p>\n

Future rounds will be at Neusa Vale and Leyburn, with quads also competing at Mt Perry.<\/p>\n
