The highset Queenslander was fully alight when fire crews arrived on site<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The local community is rallying around a family whose house was gutted by fire at Ellesmere on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Nine fire crews attended the blaze in a highset Queenslander on Pauls Parade.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews were called at 3:50pm and found the building fully alight on arrival.<\/p>\n

The family – two adult women and four children aged from four to 13 – were not hurt but lost everything to the flames.<\/p>\n

An appeal immediately went out on Facebook via family friends and by Sunday evening a quantity of clothing had been collected to assist.<\/p>\n
