The sixth annual Reef’n’Beef Extravaganza turned on a feast of plenty for the 280 or so hungry revellers who trekked from all over the South Burnett to Ironpot Hall on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

They dined on pan-fried reef fish, prawns,\u00a0bugs, oysters, rib fillet steak and rib roast … not to mention dessert!<\/p>\n

Large marquees were erected out the front of the hall in case of rain (which no one would have minded at all, but unfortunately didn’t happen).<\/p>\n

The organisers of Reef’n’Beef\u00a0are Team Ironpot<\/a><\/strong>, a not-for-profit association that was formed by a group of friends after the tragic death of a mate, Dave Schmidt, 37, in a motorcycle accident during the 2008\u00a0Finke Desert Race near Alice Springs.<\/p>\n

Team Ironpot aims to “create, supply and deliver” enjoyable events, with funds raised used to help local associations in the Ironpot area.<\/p>\n
