The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter flew into Kingaroy last night to airlift a woman in her 50s who had been bitten by a suspected brown snake on her property near Murgon.<\/p>\n

The woman\u2019s husband applied initial first aid, wrapping her leg with bandages, before driving her to hospital.<\/p>\n

RACQ CareFlight Rescue retrieved the woman from Kingaroy Hospital and flew her to Nambour General Hospital for further treatment.<\/p>\n

She travelled in a stable condition.<\/p>\n

RACQ CareFlight\u2019s medical team said people who suspect they may have been bitten by a snake should stay calm, limit movement, apply compression and immediately contact emergency services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
