The South Burnett’s best junior cricketers were in action on Sunday in a series of junior matches played against Fraser Coast.<\/p>\n

In the Under 16s<\/strong>, Fraser Coast (217) were too strong for South Burnett who were all out for 135.<\/p>\n

Top scorers for SB were Brayden Clark (72) and Caylan Brown (22).<\/p>\n

Best with the ball were Ciarin Dougherty who took 3\/24 from five overs and Callum Cook, 2\/33 from nine overs.<\/p>\n

Fraser Coast also came out on top in the Under 14s.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fraser Coast were dismissed for 161. \u00a0Tyler Heness took 2\/31 from nine overs and Nathan Fairbairn 2\/14 from four overs.<\/p>\n

In reply, South Burnett were all out for 61.<\/p>\n

Jarred Sippel top scored with 18 and B Griffin (11).<\/p>\n

South Burnett were triumphant in the Under 13s<\/strong>, finishing with 9\/167.<\/p>\n

Trent Riddell topscored with 35 n\/o and Tom Carney took 28.<\/p>\n

Fraser Coast were dismissed for 84.<\/p>\n

Nich Plint starred with the ball, taking an impressive five wickets for just 10 runs off eight overs.<\/p>\n

Jacob Brazier took 2\/21 from seven overs.<\/p>\n

Fraser Coast (289 runs) also won the Under 12s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

South Burnett were dismissed for 106. Alex Newton was best with the bat, making 18 runs.<\/p>\n

Day 2 of the Murgon Crusaders v Wondai Wolves, and Kingaroy RSL v Warriors South Burnett senior matches were played on Saturday. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

As expected, RSL wrapped up its game at home against Warriors quickly, taking an outright victory for the loss of just two wickets in the run chase.<\/p>\n

But Crusaders defied expectations in Murgon, dismissing the in-form Wolves for just 79 in their second innings.<\/p>\n

In the B Grade match played at Kingaroy State School, Wooroolin Warriors dominated against Diggers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Warriors were all out for 191. Top scorers were Diom Roth (54) and Shane Gray (50). \u00a0Captain Hayden Wieck scored 19.<\/p>\n

Best of the Diggers’ bowlers were A Woodall (3\/30 off 8 overs), R Somerfield (2\/23 off five overs) and N Nixon (1\/32 off seven overs).<\/p>\n

In reply, Diggers made 90 runs.<\/p>\n

Top scorers were C Heness (21), A Woodall (20) and N Nixon (11).<\/p>\n
