\"Cats,<\/a>January 30, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you a cat? Tabby cat, tom cat, fat cat … even a kitten? Then the South Burnett Musical Comedy Society wants you!<\/p>\n

The group plans to perform Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famous musical later this year and needs a clowder (apparently that’s the right collective noun) of cats to make it happen.<\/p>\n

They need singing cats, dancing cats, old cats and kittens. Age, sex and body shape is not important!<\/p>\n

The group has two information sessions planned for potential cast members and have also fixed a date for auditions.<\/p>\n

The first information session will be held at the SBMC Society Shed – at the rear of the South Burnett Enterprise Centre at 6 Cornish Street, Kingaroy – from 2:00pm to 3:30pm on Sunday, February 9.<\/p>\n

The second session will he held from 7:30pm-8:30pm at the same venue on Wednesday, February 12.<\/p>\n

The two sessions will provide information about rehearsals, costumes, makeup etc.<\/p>\n

Auditions will be held in three sessions at the SBMC Shed on Sunday, February 16.<\/p>\n

From 9:00am to 11:00am, dancer\/singers will have the opportunity to try out.<\/p>\n

Soloists will be invited to sing a chorus and a verse from a song (not from Cats) between 11:00am and noon.<\/p>\n

Then singer\/dancers will try out between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.<\/p>\n
