The touch football grounds at TJ O\u2019Neill Oval have received an upgrade prior to the commencement of the 2014 season.<\/p>\n

Over 74 cubic metres of topsoil was laid over one of the smaller fields at the northern end of the complex recently.<\/p>\n

Touch volunteers Kelly Payne and Barney Horne spent two days laser levelling the field to bring the playing surface up to a first grade standard.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe modern game of touch has become very quick and skillful, so players require the best playing surface we can provide,\u201d Kelly Payne said.<\/p>\n

Topsoil was donated by Rowan Hayes from Wandarri Sand and Gravel and Keith Crawford from Crawfords Sand And Gravel Supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
