January 21, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n Fee-free apprenticeships and traineeships are now available in 11 industries for Year 12 students who graduated in 2013.<\/p>\n Education Minister John-Paul Langbroek said the “high demand” areas had been chosen by the State Government and industry.<\/p>\n \u201cFee-free training will give recent Year 12 graduates the opportunity to complete a high priority qualification without the financial burden of student contribution fees,\u201d Mr Langbroek said.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Newman Government is giving Queensland\u2019s students and employers greater choice and access to quality training so that together we can build the Queensland economy.\u201d<\/p>\n Mr Langbroek said the following fee-free qualifications would be available if students started their training in the calendar year after completing Year 12:<\/p>\n
