Kingaroy batsman Anthony Eden is one of only three Queenslanders who have been selected to play in the Australian Country XI.<\/p>\n

Selectors named the team this week following the conclusion of the Australian Country Cricket Championships played in the ACT.<\/p>\n

The championships, which involved teams from throughout Australia and the East Asia Pacific region, was won by West Australian Country in the narrowest of margins over South Australian Country.<\/p>\n

Queensland Country finished fourth on the ladder.<\/p>\n
