It’s Wondai’s turn to host the annual South Burnett Regional Council Australia Day awards ceremony.<\/p>\n

The awards, which honour nominees for their community achievements over the past 12 months, will be presented at a special ceremony from 6:30pm on the eve of Australia Day – Saturday, January 25 \u2013 at Wondai Town Hall.<\/p>\n

A large number of local residents have been nominated for awards in various categories but the winners will not be revealed until the big night.<\/p>\n

The Matthew Hayden Bursary will be presented to the winner of the Junior Sportsperson of the Year award.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Matthew is unable to attend the ceremony but will send through a special message via DVD.<\/p>\n

His parents, Lawrie and Moya Hayden, will present the Bursary on his behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
