The South Burnett Regional Council's 2012-2013 Annual Report<\/figcaption><\/figure>January 13, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Burnett Regional Council formally adopted its 2012-13 Annual Report at its December meeting and it is now available to download<\/a><\/strong> from council’s website.<\/p>\n

The Annual Report contains information about the Council’s activities over the 2012-13 financial year, and also contains the year’s financial statements.<\/p>\n

All councils are required by law to prepare an annual report soon after the close of each financial year.<\/p>\n

The report is then sent to the Department Of Local Government and Planning to ensure it meets the standards set down for these documents.<\/p>\n

This auditing process takes several months, after which Councils are then required to adopt the Annual Report and release it to the public.<\/p>\n

Hard copies of the Annual Report will be available at the Council’s Customer Service Centres for a fee to cover printing costs, but the PDF version is free.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
