Multiple fire units and police are on site at a large fire burning in the Cloyna area this afternoon.<\/p>\n

The fire – in grassland and bushland – has already burned out about 50ha.<\/p>\n

An Emergency Services spokesperson said at least four properties are currently \u00a0(3:20pm) under threat from the flames.<\/p>\n

A dozer is being used to help build containment lines to protect houses and sheds.<\/p>\n

The fire, which began about 1:30pm, is burning in the area of Bicks Road and Wilsons Road.<\/p>\n

UPDATE 6:15pm:<\/strong> Five rural fire crews and two urban crews had the fire contained by 4:15pm.<\/p>\n
