It was Yarraman’s turn to celebrate Christmas on Saturday with the Yarraman Christmas Markets in the morning followed by the Christmas Carnival going late into the night.<\/p>\n

There was entertainment for the young and not-so-young in Errol Munt Park with live music and free rides.<\/p>\n

Splatt Sponge Attack – where competitors get the opportunity to shoot wet sponges at each other – proved popular in the hot weather.<\/p>\n

Also popular were the ice cones and buckets of fairy floss.<\/p>\n

Karla’s Carnival came across from Kingaroy to provide fun and games for the children and do face-painting.<\/p>\n

Santa dropped by to say hi about 6:00pm.<\/p>\n

The festive spirit continued into the evening with a licensed bar operating and then the big fireworks display.<\/p>\n

The Christmas Carnival was sponsored by the Yarraman Progress Association and local businesses.<\/p>\n

Yarraman’s Christmas spirit will continue next Saturday night, with a barbecue and Carols by Candlelight at Errol Munt Park from \u00a06:00pm.<\/p>\n

The carols have been organised by the Yarraman Community Council in conjunction with the churches of Yarraman. \u00a0 BYO chair, blanket and candles …<\/p>\n
