Lindsay Wessling, from the Bill Hull Car Centre, is the Rotary Club of Kingaroy’s Pride of Workmanship Award winner for November.<\/p>\n

Lindsay was nominated in the “Motor Trades” category by his employer, Jacqui Trace.<\/p>\n

“It’s a pleasure to have someone work for you who wants to be at work and enjoys what they do,” she wrote in her nomination.<\/p>\n

Lindsay will receive his award at the Rotary meeting on Monday, December 16.<\/p>\n

Pride of Workmanship Awards recognise workers in various fields of employment.<\/p>\n

In December, the club is calling for nominations from employers and from the public for excellent workers in personal services such as beauticians, hairdressers, gym instructors, masseurs, personal carers etc.<\/p>\n

Rotary is promoting Pride of Workmanship to local businesses through the theme of “Do it once \u2013 do it well” to help employees achieve the goal of job satisfaction.<\/p>\n

The club looks forward to nominations of people who have demonstrated the highest standards and work ethics in a nominated vocation.<\/p>\n

“This is an opportunity for employers and customers to publicly recognize employees worthy of an award,” Kingaroy Rotary Club president Damien Tessmann said.<\/p>\n

The program will continue throughout the year with workers in different vocations eligible to be nominated.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne nominee each month will be awarded a trophy of a high quality four-colour metal badge mounted on a rosewood timber-tone back, engraved with the awardee’s name, presenting club and the date,\u201d Mr Tessmann said.<\/p>\n
