It’s not every day that you turn 101, so Margaret Francis had a special “customised” birthday experience at Karinya in Nanango on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Gas Guzzlers hot rod and custom car club rolled into Karinya for the residents to take a look at.<\/p>\n

The club also presented Margaret with a bunch of flowers.<\/p>\n

The display of vehicles brought back special memories for one Karinya resident.<\/p>\n

Frieda Suvajac lived in Chicago from 1950 to 1971 when she came to Australia.<\/p>\n

During her time in the US, she owned a Chevrolet so the 1956 Chevy on show was a special treat for her.<\/p>\n
