Tourism industry representatives will gather in Stanthorpe next week at a conference dedicated to Southern Queensland tourism.<\/p>\n

Southern Queensland Country Tourism CEO Mary-Clare Power said the RACQ Southern Queensland Tourism Industry Conference would be held at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism on November 26-27.<\/p>\n

Southern Queensland Country Tourism is the body which is charged with promoting the South Burnett following the merger last year of several regional tourism organisations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ms Power said the conference offered anyone with an interest in tourism “great value for money”.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor all tourism operators it\u2019s a chance to take time out to work on their business. For anyone else involved in regional tourism it\u2019s an opportunity to hear from an impressive roster of speakers about the latest trends and developments in tourism development and marketing,” she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want everyone to leave the conference feeling challenged and energised to focus on their businesses in new and innovative ways.<\/p>\n

“There is so much practical information on offer. Delegates can learn the three keys to branding success, how to Instagram like a professional, how to build their online distribution and how to use the changing media landscape to their advantage.<\/p>\n

\u201cDelegates will also hear of the incredible success tourism colleagues in other areas have had by collaborating across regional tourism boundaries.”<\/p>\n

Tourism Minister Jann Stuckey will also be attending the conference.<\/p>\n

Southern Queensland Country Tourism has partnered with Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane Marketing and the RACQ to deliver the conference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
