Time is running out for South Burnett residents to get their Australia Day nominations in.<\/p>\n

South Burnett Regional Council is calling for nominations for the region\u2019s annual Australia Day Awards for 2014.<\/p>\n

The awards acknowledge and reward outstanding groups or individuals for their contribution to improving the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

This year the regional awards ceremony will be held on the eve of Australia Day – Saturday, January 25 – at the Wondai Town Hall.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Australia Day Awards are an excellent opportunity to recognise the work done by members of the South Burnett. We have so many people in the region who volunteer their time to help others,\u201d Mayor Wayne Kratzmann said.<\/p>\n
