November 5, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s the first Tuesday in November so it must be … the Kumbia Races!<\/p>\n

The Kumbia Race Club will be holding its popular Melbourne Cup race meeting today.<\/p>\n

It’s a five-race meeting with the first race scheduled to jump at at 12:30pm.<\/p>\n

The feature race, the Huston Ford Kumbia Cup, will be run at 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

As well a big Fashions of the Field competition, there’ll be full TV coverage of the races from Flemington, including the Melbourne Cup which will be run at 2:00pm (Queensland time).<\/p>\n

On-course bookies will be taking bets on both the local and interstate races.<\/p>\n

Buses will be running from Kingaroy and Nanango to help punters enjoy the day without the hassle of driving.<\/p>\n
