The South Burnett’s four photography clubs gathered at the Wondai Art Gallery’s Studio last week for their annual Interclub Competition to select the region’s best photographs of the year.<\/p>\n

This year’s contest had six themes and each club was invited to submit five images for each theme, or 30 photos in total.<\/p>\n

The competition was organised by the Murgon Camera Club. Entries were judged by Fran Cross from the Hervey Bay Photographic Club, Ken Chapman from the Gympie Camera Club, and Garry Bradford from the Glass House Mountains Camera Club.<\/p>\n

The judges said that they were “surprised but very pleased” with the high standard of entries and said they found choosing the winners in several categories very difficult.<\/p>\n
