Cricketers will have the opportunity to have some extra fun on Monday nights with the launch of social night cricket in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The games will be played under lights at Lyle Vidler Oval from 6:00pm-7:30pm and from 7:30pm-9:00pm.<\/p>\n

The proposed commencement date is Monday, October 21.<\/p>\n

Cost is $120 per team per night which includes a ball for each innings, as well as a $5 drink\/snack voucher for the player of the match from each team.<\/p>\n

Teams can consist of a minimum of eight players and up to a maximum of 12 players.<\/p>\n

The matches will be played under modified rules: 14 over innings, two overs maximum per bowler, shortened run ups, compulsory batting requirements etc<\/p>\n

If only one game is scheduled each Monday, teams may opt to play a 16 or 20-over innings game.<\/p>\n

A fully licensed bar and snacks will be available.<\/p>\n
