Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club had record numbers turn up to their Summer Sevens registration night on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Ten Social teams and six Competition teams registered and close to 100 players turned up for a friendly kick around before the competition proper starts next Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Sevens’ co-ordinators Mick North and Thomas Carroll said they were “gobsmacked” at the turnout.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were expecting a good turnout but the number we got was beyond anybody\u2019s expectation.” Mick said.<\/p>\n

“It was pleasing to see a huge number of new faces as well as the regulars.\u201d<\/p>\n

The number could have been bigger again had Nanango men registered teams but it was great to see everyone with a smile on their face enjoying getting back into their football.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
