A 77-year-old woman driver was trapped in her wrecked car by her feet after a two-car crash on the D’Aguilar Highway near Kingaroy about 1:30pm today.<\/p>\n

The woman, the sole occupant of the vehicle, had to be freed from the red Holden Barina by emergency services personnel before being taken to Kingaroy Hospital by ambulance.<\/p>\n

Nanango Police Officer-in-Charge Sergeant Jason Newton said the woman had injuries to her lower legs and arm but it appeared they were non life-threatening.<\/p>\n

There were two occupants in the second vehicle, a silver Ford Falcon. A woman from this vehicle was taken to hospital with neck and back pain while the male occupant appeared to be unhurt.<\/p>\n

An eyewitness to the crash, who was manning a fruit stand on the side of the highway, told southburnett.com.au<\/strong> the Falcon had stopped to turn right into Bellbird Road when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n

The Barina hit the stationery Falcon from the rear, pushing it across the highway.<\/p>\n

Both vehicles suffered severe damage.<\/p>\n
